First look based on manufacturer specs. No hands-on sample yet. Every number below is from Wurkkos.
The bigger sibling on this site is the HD02 PRO — a chunky 5-in-1 tool brick. The HD02MINI is the pocket take on that idea: spot, flood, a tilting high-CRI wing light, and a red mode, packed into something closer to everyday carry size.
Wurkkos announced it on September 14, 2026 in their 7th Anniversary blog. Launch offers run September 22 – October 7 EDT. The wider anniversary celebration is September 20 – October 10 EDT. Product page: wurkkos.com HD02MINI.
What it is
Think of it as a pocket multi-beam tool light, not a plain tube flashlight. You get:
- Spotlight — up to 1,300 lumens (total light) at 6000K, reaching up to 204 meters (how far the beam can usefully go, per Wurkkos)
- Floodlight — 400 lumens at 4000K for nearby work
- Wing light — 320 lumens at 5000K, 90+ CRI (colors look more natural), and it tilts up to 135°
- Red light — quick access; Wurkkos notes 660 nm in the product FAQ copy
Controls, per Wurkkos: magnetic mode switching plus a button for brightness, so each beam type stays more independent than a single long click-cycle.

Key specs (sourced only)
Treat these as manufacturer claims, not independent lab numbers from this site. No candela (peak beam intensity) figure was listed on the product page when checked — only the 204 m throw claim. For how lumens and throw differ, see Lumens Explained.

Who it is for
HD02MINI — you want pocket carry plus a work-light trick set: spot for distance, flood for the near field, a tilting high-CRI wing for close repairs or reading, and red for night-vision-friendly checks. AA backup is a real travel perk.
HD02 PRO — you want the bigger sibling with more output and more specialty beams (UV/green and the full wing setup). It is a tool brick, not a slip-in-the-jeans EDC.
Wurkkos FC11C — you want a simple pocket tube: one main beam, high-CRI everyday carry, fewer modes to learn. Great when you do not need a tilting wing or multi-emitter layout.
Honest catches
- Learning curve. Spot, flood, wing, and red mean more UI than a one-button tube. Wurkkos says magnetic mode switching keeps things clearer — still expect a few evenings to build muscle memory.
- AA vs recharge tradeoff. AA is a handy backup, but USB-C charging is for the 14500 only. Do not plug in with an AA installed (Wurkkos FAQ).
- Not a mini HD02 PRO. Peak spot is 1,300 lm vs the PRO’s much higher spotlight claim, and you do not get the PRO’s full specialty stack. Size is the win here.
- No candela listed on the product page when this was written — only throw in meters. Wait for a full FL1 table if you care about peak intensity numbers.
- Launch timing. Offers are dated September 22 – October 7 EDT. Availability / stock can shift around the anniversary window — check the official page before you plan around a ship date.
Bottom line
If the HD02 PRO felt like “too much light to pocket,” the HD02MINI is Wurkkos answering with a smaller multi-beam carry light: 1,300-lumen spot to about 204 m, a warmish flood, a tilting 90+ CRI wing, red for night work, and 14500 / AA flexibility. Spec-based first look only — no sample on the desk yet.
