The Best Flashlights is a small site about lights that actually get used: glove box, pocket, garage, trail.
The job is simple. Cut through Amazon hype, keep the specs honest, and point you at a light that matches the job. When I have not had a sample on the desk, the page will say so and cite the manufacturer.
New releases get written up as they land. Older posts (Maglite 2D, SureFire 6P, the original buying checklist) stay up because that is how we got here.
