Fenix WT26RM Review: High-CRI Work Light With Real Throw
You want a work light that can throw a tight beam down a driveway and still paint a warm, true-color flood on the bench in front of you. Fenix’s WT26RM is that hybrid: spotlight, high-CRI flood, and red light in one magnetic brick. Fenix Lighting USA lists it in stock at $89.95 after a September 2026 preorder, with shipping that opened around September 23. This is a first look from Fenix’s official product page, not a hands-on test. I have not had one on the desk.
Exact Amazon listing was not verified yet — use the search link and confirm the title says WT26RM, not the older WT25R or WT20R. Buy from Fenix when you want the official kit and warranty path.

What it is
The WT26RM sits between a classic tube flashlight and a lantern. A rotary switch picks the channel; an electronic button steps brightness. A 360° rotatable mount carries a magnet, a retractable hook, and a tripod thread so you can work hands-free on steel, a beam, or a stand.

Three light sources:
- Spotlight — cool-white throw Fenix rates to 1,188 ft / 362 m with up to 2,500 lumens (total light) for reaching farther targets.
- Floodlight — warm high-CRI (≥90) light so colors on wire, paint, and parts look closer to daylight. Fenix cites up to 600 lumens on this channel in Notebookcheck’s coverage of the launch sheet; confirm live runtime charts on Fenix’s page.
- Red light — steady or flash for night vision and signaling.

Key specs you can actually source
Plain English first, then the number. Core figures below are Fenix’s claims.
| What shoppers ask | Fenix claim | Source |
|---|---|---|
| How bright (spotlight) | Up to 2,500 lumens | Fenix Lighting USA |
| How far the beam reaches | Up to 1,188 ft / 362 m | same |
| Flood / color quality | High-CRI (≥90) flood LED; spotlight uses SFT42R; flood uses XP-L2 per Fenix FAQ | same |
| Battery | Included ARB-L21-5000 V2.0 21700 (5,000 mAh) | same |
| Longest runtime | Up to 69 hours 21 minutes on lowest flood | same |
| Charging | USB-C; about 3.5 hours with a 5 V / 2 A adapter | same |
| Size / weight | 122 × 56 × 40 mm; 241 g with battery | same |
| Sealing | IP66 dust and rain / heavy splash | same |
| Mount | 360° rotatable handle with magnet, hook, tripod mount | same |

Fenix notes Turbo spotlight runtime includes early step-down after a short peak (Notebookcheck summarized the sheet as a few minutes at full before dropping). Treat 2,500 lumens as a burst, not continuous shop brightness. This site has no lab graph.
Who it is for
Buy this if you wrench, wire, inspect, or work outdoors and want one light that can magnet to a panel, hook under a hood, or throw down a long driveway. The high-CRI flood is the reason to pick it over a pure cool-white tube when color matters.
Skip it if you want a slim EDC in a jeans pocket, a 25,000-lumen searchlight, or a sub-$40 throwaway. At about 8.5 oz with battery it is a dedicated work brick. Also skip it if you need UV or green laser modes — those live on tools like the Wurkkos HD02 PRO, not here.
How it compares
Against our site start-here pick, the Wurkkos HD02 PRO, the WT26RM is the Fenix-shaped answer: fewer novelty colors, stronger brand warranty path in the US, and a clear high-CRI flood plus long spotlight. The HD02 PRO still wins if you want UV / red / green and a lower street price — confirm live carts.
Against older Fenix WT25R listings on Amazon: those are different models with lower output. Match “WT26RM” and the 2,500-lumen / 362 m claims before you click Buy.

Honest catches
- Spotlight Turbo steps down. Plan on lower sustained output after the opening burst; Fenix’s thermal protection is intentional.
- High-CRI is flood-only. The spotlight is a performance cool-white emitter, not the ≥90 CRI channel.
- Amazon look-alikes. Search will surface WT25R and other WT-series lights. Confirm WT26RM.
- Not hands-on. No beamshots, no candela wall, no desk sample from this site.
Should you buy it?
The WT26RM is Fenix’s September 2026 rechargeable work light: up to 2,500 lumens of spotlight throw to 362 m, a separate high-CRI flood, red light, a magnetic 360° mount with hook and tripod thread, a 5,000 mAh 21700, USB-C charging, IP66 sealing, and an $89.95 list on Fenix Lighting USA. Specs and photos are Fenix’s. If you need true-color bench light plus real throw in one magnetic brick — and you prefer Fenix’s US support path — it is a strong work-light pick. If you want UV and colored modes for less money, keep the Wurkkos HD02 PRO in the mix.
